1. Dogs can eat a tiny portion of salt. And I mean, tiny. Dogs, like humans, also need salt to help their body retain liquid. All the dog food products in the marker contain 1%-3% of salt. Give more salt to breastfeeding dams. This method would induce thirst. The dam would drink more liquid and produce more milk.
2. Dogs cannot eat onion because it will ruin their metabolism.
3. Dogs can eat garlic. In fact, garlic is beneficial in preventing worms and fleas. Adding garlic to your dog’s food could also help increase their appetite!
4. Dogs cannot eat chocolate. On top of ruining their teeth, chocolate also ruins their metabolism.
5. Dogs cannot eat raw liver. If you want to give them liver, make sure to have them cooked well-done. Raw liver could contain worms. You shouldn’t take that risk of feeding it to your dog.
6. You can feed your dogs chicken neck-bone because it contains quite a high level of calcium. Chicken neck-bone is not as hard as chicken thigh-bone. It’s better to give raw neck-bone as boiling would make the bone harder.

7. Dogs can eat raw meat. Raw meat will not make your dogs wild or temperamental, that is just a myth. Actually, raw meat are better for dog’s health as they are more easily digestible for dogs. Some people also say that dogs cannot eat raw eggs, but I don’t buy into that.
8. Pregnant dogs cannot eat worm tablets because it will cause miscarriage. You could feed them the medicine before the dog is bred and two weeks after they give birth.
9. You can shower pregnant dogs, as long as it is executed with extra care. Pregnant dogs should always be kept clean, especially around their nipple and vagina area.
10. You cannot shower your dogs 3 days before and 1 week after they get their vaccination shot. Post-vaccinated dogs are relatively weak, so make sure you keep them in tip-top conditions!
